Lets try this again

Sun May 31, 2009, 7:06 AM
Sometimes I forget that this thing has a journal feature. I'm normally just used to using LJ for my journal updating needs. I have decided to put forth a more honest effort to update here as well as branch out to do other networking.

I had my birthday May 21st, and got a very nice surprise party that lifted my spirits in a time when it was starting to feel as if I was all alone in the world.

I can't say enough how fortunate I feel to have such good friends and family.

I'm trying to find more perfect balance in life, turning back toward things that bring me joy, such as working to expand my art and follow my dreams.

Just praying for brighter days.

Hi leopardwolf - it's good to find a place to send a little message over to you. I actually found the link to your art work from reading your account on dsycalculia, and i think what you're doing, making your od schools aware of dyscalculia is a wonderful thing. Good for you for developing your creative passions. I'm a student and right now one of my required couses is psychology statistics - it's not even 'real' statistics but i dont get any of it - it scares me so much i'm in denial. My mom even sent me a GCSE level revision guide on statistics, but this is harder stuff than that - unfortunately i dont understand the GCSE material beyond mean, median and mode. 7 yearsof math tutoring has done nothing except pass me through high school. This is the first time I've had to do math since three years ago when I was free to drop it (what I thought was forever). I dont really know what to do, but it's nice to see someone sharing their experience. So thankyou. Have you been able to pursue your passion in working with animals?

Thank you so much! Sorry I didn't respond till now. Took a little break here.

Hello!!!!
I used your stock in this image!

Thank you very much!
:iconleopardwolf:
Thank you for showing me your beautiful creation!

Like I mentioned, none of the work in my gallery here is actually meant to be used as stock, but you have inspired me and opened my eyes to other possibilities for images I might otherwise toss in the junk pile. Maybe I'll make a separate area for stock photography!
:icontelmafrancione:
It would be a great idea!!!
I hope you do, let me know and I'll work more with some of them.
(again... forgive my English)

"Thank you" so much the fav. & for helping me identify the hawk in "Bird of Prey" photo as a Cooper's hawk. We have seen her since she 1st learned to fly & started hunting, but had not until now been able to get a good photo of her. I've had lots of suggestions as to what she might be, but none of the others were right.
Thank you, Gloria

:iconleopardwolf:
I'm just glad we finally figured it out! Have you seen her any more this year now that the warm weather is back?
:iconglunac:
We moved..but I am sure she is still hunting in the same neighborhood.
