Sculpts For Kymba

Two sculptures I created to help Kymba with a project she had planned.

Both pieces are made from air dry natural clay and are hand formed and hand carved. I left them as rough and natural as I possibly could, to simulate ancient sculpting or pottery techniques and make it more realistic for its intended purpose. I'm rather happy with the outcome with this material. Those are Norse rune stones and rough swirling lines, more symbolic of ancient Gaelic or Pictish folklore art.
