Taurus - Zodiac Collab

This artwork was created for the Zodiac Collaboration hosted by *DarkDelusion.

The idea behind it was that different artists would create renditions of the zodiac signes using their own soulforms or characters, or whatever else was significant to them.

In this art I have depicted myself as Taurus, the bull.

Someone else was originally supposed to do Taurus, but when that fell through I got lucky enough to claim it as my own.

Being born as a Taurus / Gemini cusp myself, I was delighted when I got the okay and found out no one else had yet claimed the signe. So I quickly gobbled it up and started the rough sketches that eventually led to this.

Just shy of the original deadline, my hard drive where I had the saved files stored crashed. I recovered what I could and redid the rest to recreate the finished piece.

My ungulate anatomy is fairly wonky and needs some work, but overall I am pleased with the outcome. Because Taurus is an Earth signe, I chose to use earthy tones for the accents and background.
